EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Our client, Australia’s leading Defence Consultancy is now offering an exciting Sydney based opportunity for an experienced Contract Manager in the Defence/Naval environment - Sydney.
MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS
- Over 10 years of direct experience in contracts and/or program management;
- Formal qualifications in project management such as PMI certification;
- Expert in the Naval upgrade projects
- Proven working experience with DSTO and DMO stakeholders;
- Experience in setting and measuring Project Key Performance Indicators based on Industry Standards;
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Successful candidates will be required to bring their Contract Management expertise in the complete systems development life cycle: inception, resource estimation, design, process design, development, testing, implementation and rollout to ensure the projects are delivered on time, within budget costs and to the satisfaction of the customer’s expectations proven by sign-off.
- Experience in defence planning, management and mostly your procurement processes/expertise will be highly regarded;
- Managing the projects within the framework of company’s policies, procedures, standards, methodologies and controls applicable to the work;
- Liaise with the Sales and Bid management team in the preparation of proposals and directly with customer representatives in determining the schedule and project delivery requirements; and
- Facilitate process improvement through dissemination of information, process measurement and automation efficiency.
To be eligible to apply, you must be an Australian Citizen and preferably hold or be eligible to obtain a Security Clearance from the Department of Defence.
