EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Our client is one of Australia's most reputable Defence consultancies. Presently, an opportunity exists for a Logistics Engineer to join the team in Adelaide on an Aerospace project!

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS
To be successful in applying for this role, you will need to be degree qualified or possess the equivalent experience within defence environment. Additional logistic support experience to meet MIL-STD 1388-1A/2B standards is also vital. Personnel will be required to hold, or attain within one week, Logistics Engineering Authority IAW the Technical Airworthiness Management Manual and AESSO-ALSE Engineering Management Plan. To be eligible for appointment as a Logistics Engineer a person shall possess:

Completion of the AERO ENG Staff Course.
A minimum of two years Operational Maintenance or Depot Maintenance on Life Support Equipment

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Logistics Engineer you will guide and take on logistic engineering development for some of Australia's leading defence products. This is an ideal opportunity to produce logistics engineering information, be involved in logistics analysis and provide support to projects and company's bids on challenging and innovative defence programs.
Your duties will include but will not be limited to the following:

Logistic Support Analysis
Reliability, Availability and Maintainability
Spares modelling
Failure Mode Effects and Critical Analysis
Life Cycle Cost Analysis
Obsolescence monitoring
Quality Assurance

Due to the nature of this role, you must be an Australian Citizen and hold or be eligible to obtain a Defence Security Clearance.
