MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS

To be successful in applying for this position you will be familiar with key Australian and US Defence Systems Engineering standards;

EIA 632

IEEE 1220

MIL STD 498 At least 3 years experience in an engineering discipline, practicing in one or more of the following disciplines, requirement definition, requirement management, requirement analysis design and verification and validation. You must be either a Tertiary Qualified Engineer or a Technical Officer with considerable experience to be eligible for this position.

Mandatory requirements include:

Degree in Engineering, specialising in Mechanical, Marine, Electrical, Safety, Naval Architecture or similar

Minimum of 3 years post graduate experience ideally in a Marine/Naval Systems environment

Proven ability to make independent decisions within a licence to operate framework

Solid experience with CORE and DOORS

Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

At least 3 years experience in an engineering discipline, practicing in one or more of the following disciplines, requirement definition, requirement management, requirement analysis design and verification and validation. Due to the nature of this role the successful applicant will need to be an Australian citizen with the ability to obtain an Australian Defence Industry Security Clearance to Restricted Level.
